Who we are
This website is run by Tarboush Ltd, trading as Tarboush, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11478527). Registered office: 57 Market Street, Watford, WD18 0PR. We are the “controller” of the personal data described here.
Contact us about your data at info@tarboushwatford.co.uk, on 01923 248898, or by post at the address above.
What we collect and why
E-mails and phone calls
This website has no contact forms of its own. If you e-mail or call us, we use the details you give us (such as your name, e-mail address, phone number and your message) only to answer your enquiry, for example about a table, a party or catering. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us and, where your enquiry is about a booking or an order, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Table bookings
Bookings are made through a booking form provided by ResDiary. The details you enter there (such as your name, contact details, the booking and, where a deposit is required, payment details handled by their payment provider) are collected by ResDiary on our behalf so that we can keep your table. Our lawful basis is the performance of a contract with you. ResDiary’s own privacy notice explains how they handle your data.
Visiting the website
Like every website, our server processes technical data needed to deliver the pages, such as your IP address and browser type, and may keep it for a short time in security logs. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers. Content from other companies (the YouTube film, the Google map, the booking form and the 360° views) is described in our cookie policy.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data or use it for marketing. It is seen only by our staff and by the companies that provide services to us: our website hosting and e-mail providers and, for bookings, ResDiary. Some of these providers may process data outside the United Kingdom; where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised by UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or the UK’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you contact us again, normally no longer than 12 months. Booking records are kept by ResDiary in line with the settings of our account and their retention rules.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to receive it in a portable form where that applies. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. There is normally no charge and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, telephone 0303 123 1113.
Children
This website is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes
If we change how we use personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
